Organisers from the Rotary Club of Wanaka are busy putting the final touches on 2017’s conference: Our World. A Better Place, a theme, Deb says, has taken on more and more significance and importance as the date’s drawn closer. “I think every Rotarian cares about their community and strives to make the world a better place – and, in a time of international conflict and growing ‘nationalism’, it is great to be reminded how and what we can do as Rotarians to make ‘our world a better place’.” An impressive line-up of thought-leading speakers has been selected to reinforce the message, share their perspectives, and leave Rotarians with plenty of inspiration and ideas ...
