We will have programs for all ages from infants through adults! Children who register during the first week (June 3 through 10) will be eligible for a chance to win a gift card. “1,2,3, Play with Me!” Wednesdays in June at 10:30 a.m. (June 7, 14, 21 & 28) Move with us in the Welcome Garden! We will dance, hula hoop and more to use up some of that extra energy! For preschool-age children. Summer Story Times Beginning June 12 Toddlers – Mondays & Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers – Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Baby & Me – Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Chess Skills Workshop June 12 to 16, 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Introductory to intermediate chess players are welcome in this workshop where we will learn about a different part of the game each day. Price: $80 for the full week. Grades K through 5. Chess Camp for Kids June 12 to 16, 1 to 4 p.m. Learn to play chess or improve your game in this half-day camp. The Lost Ladybug Project Monday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m. Did you know that there is more than one kind of ladybug? But some of them are disappearing. Learn how to be a ladybug citizen scientist! Building Challenges Friday, June 30, at 2 p.m. Test your engineering skills by building structures out of various materials including Magnatiles, Lincoln Logs and recyclable items. Summer Reading Party Saturday, Aug. 26, at 11 a.m. All readers completing the reading program and their families are welcome to attend the end of summer reading celebration!
