GRANDIN AWARD
Aspinwall councilwoman Jennifer
Evashavik was recently honored with
the Temple Grandin Award at Autism
Connection of PA’s gala, held at Carnegie
Music Hall in Oakland, for “going above
and beyond expectations to make a
significant impact on Pennsylvania’s
autism community.”
“I am humbled and honored to receive
the 2017 Temple Grandin Award,” she
said. “I think it’s important to remember
that no matter how busy your life is, there
is always time to do something for others
because you have the ability to make
someone’s life better.”
