Over the two-day event, up to 32 bands can take the stage, engaging the audience with traditional, contemporary and gospel bluegrass music. The Ice Jam attracts bands from all over the tri-state area, bringing them together to form what is considered to be one of the area’s finest showcases of bluegrass talent. This unique 19,000-square-foot museum (the former home of Charles B. Brown, III, the museum’s founder) houses a large collection of music boxes and other fascinating automatic musical instruments, as well as many other interesting items. The building itself provides guests with a most interesting experience as they pass from room to room, at times through hidden doors and secret passages.
