Winchester Thurston School will hold its annual fall festival , Applefest , from 11 a . m . to 3 p . m . at the North Hills Campus at WT . Applefest is open to the public and features outdoor activities in a country atmosphere , including hay rides , live music , interactive classroom activities and craft booths . The family fun continues with an obstacle course , raffle , potter demonstration , musicians and a “ fall market ” offering apples , pumpkins and baked goods .
Avon Club Annual Fall Festival

The Avon Club is a club for women who live or work in the Avonworth School District and is a nonprofit organization that raises money to benefit local Pittsburgh charities , food banks , Meals on Wheels , women ’ s shelters , etc . The fall festival is a way for the club to give back to the neighborhood . This is not a fundraising event ; it is meant to kick-off the fall season and have the neighbors come out and have fun !
