Please visit us in person or on our website at www.northstrabanetwp.com MEET YOUR NEW MANAGER The Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Andrew L. Walz as Township Manager. Mr. Walz officially assumed his duties on March 17, 2018. He succeeds Mr. Frank R. Siffrinn who retired after 25 years of distinguished service to North Strabane Township. Mr. Walz is a native of Canton Township, Washington County, and graduated from Trinity High School in 2002. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Vincent College. Andrew was employed 60 NORTH STRABANE by Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, as Township Manager since 2012. Professional organization memberships include: the American Planning Association and Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society, Association of Pennsylvania Municipal Management, and the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors. Andrew and his wife, Aliesha, have two sons, Leopold, age two and Hugo, age three months. The Township extends a warm welcome to Mr. Walz and his family, and wishes him the best for a long and successful tenure.
