PennDOT Rapid Bridge Replacement Program
Three bridges in or near Baldwin are being replaced between now and mid-late fall of this
year. As of now, the two bridges on Glass Run Road in the City of Pittsburgh are set to begin
construction on or before August 1. Glass Run Rd will be closed for approximately 10-12 weeks
for construction. Once the Glass Run Road Bridges are replaced, the Streets Run bridge on
Streets Run Rd just North of the Brentwood Rd intersection will be replaced, most likely in
mid-late fall.
We understand these projects will cause traffic issues. Please take note of the planned
detours which are available on our website (baldwinborough.org/265) and stay up to date
on PennDOT’s c onstruction schedules available on their website: parapidbridges.com/

Auditorium Renovation Complete
Baldwin Borough Police Department Introduces WeTip
WeTip provides intelligence and information to local, state, federal, and
international law enforcement agencies relating to criminal activity obtained
from an online and telephone crime reporting hotline. WeTip Operators staff
the toll free (1-800-78-CRIME) nationwide crime hotlines and Internet lines
24 hours a day, 365 days a year. WeTip will provide the maximum amount
of information possible to law enforcement to enable them to conduct an

The remodel of the Borough Building Auditorium is
complete! Stop by to peruse the items of historical
significance from Baldwin’s past now displayed in the lobby.
Residents are always welcome at the monthly Regular
Council Meeting held the third Tuesday of the month at
7:30pm in the auditorium.
