Jump Start Sports provides quality youth sports programs and camps by utilizing the perfect combination of an instructional and recreational approach to teaching !
Jump Start Sports Camps are fun-oriented and highly instructional . The relaxed and nurturing atmosphere enables children to learn , grow , make friends , and have a meaningful summer experience . The camps focus on the fundamentals of the sport for beginners but more experienced players will learn more advanced concepts and be coached at their ability and level of understanding . Jump Start Sports Camps also focus on children learning proper sportsmanship and understanding the importance of recreational game play and the benefits of physical activity ! We utilize innovative drills , competitions , and games to help teach as well as to make the programs more fun for children .
SPORTS CAMP KICKOFF June 11 th – 15 th
Kick off summer with Jump Start Sports by participating with your friends in your favorite camp games and activities ! This includes Capture the Flag , Tag Games , Relay Races , Whiffle Ball , Kickball , and more . This is a perfect opportunity to stay active and have some early summer fun with friends . Children are separated by age for all competitive activities .
COLLEGE DAYS June 18 th – June 22 nd Campers “ enroll ” in the college of their choice and have a blast competing in a variety of sports for their “ alma mater ”. Sports offered this week include basketball , soccer , lacrosse , flag football , street hockey and more ! We will feature a different sport each day and will play fun , low-key games for school pride ! The children will also learn fun facts about their chosen college , and will make school T-shirts and pennants to wear and display at “ Graduation ” ( parents welcome to attend ). rentwood cKeesport

COLOR GAMES June 25 th – June 29 th
A great “ old school ” camp concept has come to Brentwood ! Campers are divided into teams ( colors ) and play a wide variety of sports and camp games , competing in their age / gender group for “ Color Pride ”. This fun format enables children to learn and benefit from the positive aspects of competition , while working with a team toward a common goal . Camp games offered include Team Dodge Ball , Capture the Flag , British Bulldog and more . Sports included are football , basketball , soccer , hockey , volleyball , lacrosse , and more ! Campers will also make team bandanas to wear throughout the week . Get ready for a week of fun and physical activity !
ULTIMATE WARRIOR July 9 th – July 13 th
Join us at the Ultimate Warrior Camp for fitness , fun and “ Survivor ” type team challenges ! Age-appropriate and safe activities specifically designed to challenge , inspire , and excite . Games and tasks this week include obstacle courses , relays , tug-of-war , and many other fun activities designed to teach cooperation and teamwork while also developing self-esteem .
OLYMPIC SPORTS July 16 th – July 20 th
The Olympics are coming to Brentwood ! Children are grouped by age and divided into countries to learn about and compete in all types of Olympic sports ! The Olympic spirit and true sportsmanship are emphasized throughout the week . Campers also learn about the culture and history of their adopted country and make a flag to carry during the " Closing Ceremonies " and " Presentation of Medals " ( parents are welcome to attend ).
SPORTS AROUND THE WORLD July 23 rd – July 27 th
Campers engage in an exciting week of camp by learning about different sports that are played all over the world . Children will be exposed to the culture and history of each sport as well as play a variety of games and tournaments applicable to each sport . Sports will include Rugby , Team Handball , Cricket , Badminton , Soccer , Gaga , Netball , and Gaelic Football ! Campers will also decorate their own boomerang to take home .
