Highway Aid Fund Based on the September 2017 letter from Commonwealth of PA , 2015 Estimated Liquid Fuels allocation will be approximately $ 263,000.00 . The amount available for the April 1 , 2018 , payment to municipalities is currently forecast to be approximately $ 8,000 more than the prior year . This amount is based on the mileage of 24.43 and a decrease in the population from 10,466 to 9,600 for Brentwood . Expenditures associated with the Highway Aid Fund are restricted to “ highway related ” expenses . The Borough limits the use of these funds for Rock Salt ($ 108,000 ), Traffic Signals ($ 9,500 ), and Street Lighting ($ 115,000 ).
This budget is a sustainable plan of action , detailing how the overarching Borough priorities and goals will be achieved . By staying focused on the future , examining current budgets for efficiencies , collaborating with other neighboring boroughs in the area of economic development , investing in technology , judiciously weighing proposals to add or enhance programs , and planning carefully , the Borough of Brentwood has been able to maintain service levels during an era of rapidly rising costs and stagnant revenues .

The Council is very personable and requests the residents attend the monthly Council meetings to offer their suggestions and input .
