CONGRATULATIONS , CLASS OF 2018 !

The 425 members of the Bethel Park High School Class of 2018 graduated on Saturday , June 2 , 2018 . Included in the Class were 95 students who graduated with Highest Honors ( QPA 4.0 or higher ); 63 students who graduated with High Honors ( QPA of 3.75 to 3.99 ); and 59 students who graduated with Honors ( QPA of 3.50 to 3.749 ).

Eighty-one graduates were members of the National Honor Society . Of this year ’ s graduates 81 % will attend a four year institution , 11 % will attend a two year institution , 5 % will attend a trade or technical school ; 1 % will enter the military and 1 % will enter the work force .
This year ’ s Valedictorian was Kayla Armstrong , who encouraged her classmates to continue to be open to new experiences and making new friends . Salutatorian Brianna Shannon encouraged her peers to “ welcome the greatness tomorrow holds ” and to “ remember all the wonderful things ” that happened during their years as Bethel Park students .
During his remarks , Bethel Park High School Principal Dr . Zeb Jansante encouraged the students to “ make your own opportunities .”
Superintendent Dr . Joseph Pasquerilla described the Class of 2018 as “ a class who excelled through hard work and set high standards .” It was his hope that the Class of 2018 would continue their commitment to making time to share with others .

As is the High School ’ s tradition , diplomas were first presented to the four students who will enter the military . Coordinating the presentation was 2005 graduate , Air National Guard Captain Lindsay Jones .
The Senior Farewell was given by Class President Samantha Coda , who told her fellow graduates to not forget their friendships , teachers and families as they go on to this next chapter of their lives .
Joining Samantha to lead the Tassel Ceremony were PACS President Emma Papalia , Student Government President Haley Radcliffe and National Honor Society President Adam Kusluch .
