You’re getting a mother- daughter dynamic duo who are bonded together by blood and the love of real estate. Lisa Carper, Cayla’s mom, has been in the industry going on 20 years and has handled every transaction imaginable. She’s always owned her own business, worked alongside her husband who is a contractor, built her own home from the ground up, and done all her own remodeling. A mother of three, Lisa would always have Cayla at her side. Cayla’s first introduction to real estate was as a child, going on house visits with her mom. “When I was a young girl, I’d go on appointments and loved watching her do it,” Cayla recalls. “I got to a point in my life where I was able to get my own real estate license and make the dream a reality. So, we decided to join forces.” By combining their talents, buyers and sellers who work with the Carpers get Cayla’s expertise on new technologies, social media marketing and online selling along with Lisa’s vast network of experienced contractors who can help sellers get their home ready for market affordably. “Most people aren’t visual people and we work with them to give them the vision they need to sell their home,” Lisa says. “We know what fixes can be done to bring the most return on the house when they sell, so they can maximize their profits. Cayla is excellent in staging and helping clients to create a space that buyers can easily imagine themselves in.” While both women are Bethel Park residents and specialize in Bethel homes, they are extremely knowledgeable about the entire Greater Pittsburgh market and will go anywhere for their clients. They say their clients tend to be on polar opposites of the age spectrum, which turns out to be complementary. “We see a lot of seniors downsizing—and a lot of young people moving in, especially in Bethel Park,” Cayla explains. “Our combined experience allows us to help our seniors update their homes for sale, and prepare them for a younger family with the perks they’re looking for in a first-time home.” “Bringing these two audiences together is where we feel we can really help the community,” Lisa says. “We’re family, and we want our clients to feel like they’re part of that family when we represent them. We offer comfort, security and familiarity to our clients wit h that hometown feel. We love helping people and it never feels like work, even after all these years.” Outside of the office, the mother-daughter team also does volunteer work and helps out with local charity fundraisers.
