Senior Class President Maggie Lewandowski delivers the Senior Farewell. CONGRATULATIONS, BPHS CLASS OF 2017! C ongratulations to the 382 members of the Bethel Park High School Class of 2017, who graduated on Saturday, June 17! Addressing the packed gymnasium were Salutatorian Elizabeth Jensen, who talked about how appreciative she was of all of the educational opportunities that she was afforded at Bethel Park. She quoted hockey great Wayne Gretzky when she reminded her classmates, “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” Valedictorian Kyle Coplan encouraged his classmates to surround themselves with supportive friends and reminded them that without aspirations, they could lose their way. Senior Class President Maggie Lewandowski delivered the Senior Farewell and talked about how quickly the years have passed by, before wishing her classmates well in their future endeavors. Also addressing the audience was Bethel Park High School Principal Dr. Zeb Jansante, who encouraged the students to be the “next innovators” who will “take our nation to the next level.” Superintendent Dr. Joseph Pasquerilla called the Class of 2017 “excellent role models” who are leaving a “mark of excellence” on Bethel Park.
