Lyford Cay International School (LCIS) was founded in 1962 and is a non-profit, international day school located in New
Providence, The Bahamas. LCIS currently offers three of four programmes of the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB)
Organisation; the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). In
addition, the school also has an Early Learning Centre (ELC) for children starting at 18 months old and is a candidate school to
offer the fourth programme of the IB: the Career Programme (CP). The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools
(CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and holds a Green Flag from the Eco Schools Programme.
LCIS also operates the Lyford Cay School Foundation, a 501(c)3 entity for donors with tax liability in the United States of
America.
