Right now, we are beginning a journey to further transform
our students by building new facilities that will enhance
these learning experiences. As we work to fulfil our Strategic
Vision and Master Plan, we depend more than ever upon the
support of our community. The partnerships, volunteer hours
and gifts of our community members all play a critical role in
the success of this endeavour.
What gives us confidence that we are on the right path?
Our admissions inquiries continue to grow each year. Our
IB Diploma results remain above the international average.
Graduates continue to receive scholarships and offers at their
first-choice colleges and universities. Our strong financial
aid programme ensures the diversity of our community, and
hundreds of talented teachers apply to work at our school
every year. Momentum is growing for LCIS to fully realise its
potential to become the leader in international education for
the Caribbean region.
Through your investment in our school, we continue to develop
our facilities, programmes and people, aiming to create a
nurturing learning environment where our students’ lives are
forever changed.
I am pleased to share the 2015-16 Annual Report of Lyford
Cay International School (LCIS), which celebrates the support
you gave our school over the past year.

Your support is what enables LCIS to be so successful and
special. Since 1962, our community of parents, neighbours
and business partners has enabled us to create a school
where children thrive. Today, thanks to our longstanding
relationships, we are an accredited International
Baccalaureate (IB) school with strong academic results, as
measured by internationally normed standardised tests and
our impressive university acceptances around the globe.
We also have an extensive track record of nurturing happy
and balanced children who follow their passions and grow up
to make a difference in the world. At LCIS, children receive
well-rounded preparation for life, preparation that includes
rigorous academics, in-depth study in the arts, and numerous
