The HIVE BLOG is an internet-based electronic notice board, which is updated with news, events and important official Service community information on an almost daily basis. Carillion Amey Housing – advice & guidance There is lots of advice and guidance on the Carillion Amey housing website, in their guides, factsheets, forms and checklists. There are guides for ‘Living in Service Family Accommodation’ and the ‘Process for complaints about SFA services’. There is advice of what to do for emergencies such as a fire in the home, water leaks and gas leaks. The factsheets provide advice on many different subjects for living in a Service home - heating problems, managing utility bills, the furniture service, vital safety inspections, safety in the home, running a business, keeping pets, protecting your family and home in the winter, additional needs adaptions, and damp and mould issues. There are forms and checklists to assist you for when you are moving-in and moving-out of the Service home – standard checklists and booklets, 14 day observation form (move-in), in-occupancy furniture form, notification of proxy form, and the Walkaway Scheme.
