BEEGE BARKETTE

We just love our friend from afar, Beege Barkette. She says has fulfilled her lifelong dream when she screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 starring in the movie “In Confidence.” After graduating from St. Andrews University in North Carolina she headed for New York City on a Greyhound bus with her cap and her gown in her hand. After a life in the theater she headed out west to dig for gold – movies. She appeared in “Fabulous Baker Boys,” “The Onion Field” and Hal Ashby’s “Second Hand Hearts,” guest starred in the hit TV series “Charlie’s Angels” and was the lead in the West Coast premiere of Arthur Miller’s “Some Kind Of Love Story.” Beege can next be seen in Andrew Wagner’s new film “Breakable You” starring Tony Shalhoub and Holly Hunter. She is presently working on a new film, “The Game,” starring Mark Rydell. She was only in Canada once, on the set of Keith Addis’ “Masters of Science Fiction” in Vancouver, but dreams of returning to that beautiful city on the water.
