Carolyn formed her production company, Demure Duchess Pictures, in the
summer of 2014 to create all of her own projects, including Danger Pay,
WBFTV Comedy, and new Bridget Linden episodes. The logo for Demure
Duchess Pictures – two D’s intertwined – has been trademarked and is
incorporated into a clothing line Carolyn is developing for the strong elegant
independent woman. The initial offering will be a shapely fitted ladies T-
shirt in black with the logo printed in metallic silver available for purchase
on the Demure Duchess website in early 2016. Even while Carolyn continues to create more episodes of Danger Pay and WBFTV Comedy, she is also writing a new feature film, which she will also produce through Demure Duchess Pictures.
When Carolyn is not busy creating her own projects, she is also in demand
as an actress in many other projects. Most recently, she landed the role of
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Victoria Hunter in the new television series
Galaxy Trek, a Star Trek inspired series. There are currently plans for 5
seasons and 4 feature films. Carolyn is thrilled that the show’s producers
have created collector trading cards for all of the main characters, including
hers. Episode 1 of Galaxy Trek is scheduled to be released online on
VulcanTV in the spring of 2015.
Carolyn also plays "Lindsay" in the first two episodes of "Off Screen" (TV
Series) and also was the First Assistant Director of the pilot episode. She
also plays "Nurse Champagne" in the upcoming Herschell Gordon-Lewis
horror film "BloodMania".
As a dramatic actor, Carolyn has branded herself as the character of the
“alluring trailblazer”. She has been sought out to audition for roles of
characters that are similar to Lena Headey’s character of Cersei Lannister in
Game of Thrones; Sigourney Weaver in Alien; Sharon Stone in Basic
Instinct; Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich; and Jennifer Aniston in Horrible
Bosses. She has auditioned for roles in the U.S. and Canada and as far away
as Bollywood.
As a person, Carolyn is a very approachable and kindhearted woman. She
has accumulated a loyal following of fans who shower her with
encouragement and enjoy sharing their own stories with her. People admire
her strength of character and her message about being able to change one’s
life by sharing her own personal story about her own 110 pound weight loss
nearly 2 decades ago.
Carolyn discusses her projects and life challenges when she can in television
interviews, podcasts and magazine articles both in Canada and in the US.
Carolyn is living proof that it is never too late to pursue your dreams, and
that you just never know what may happen when you put yourself out there
and go for it. The future is looking very bright for this rising star.
