The Revolving Lamp is an innovative product
that is specifically designed for kids, and features
the unique inclusion of speakers, with the purpose
of allowing children to go to sleep with their (or their
parents’) choice of music played through them.
The most visually attractive aspect of this
lamp, however, is its colorful and ever-changing
surface, covered by eight 200mm x 50 mm OLED
sheets that produce light at an equivalent rate of an
energy-saving light bulb. These sheets steadily revolve and project multicolored images that in turn
graze on the ceiling, creating a bright and pleasant
view. The Revolving Lamp gets its name thanks to a
low-powered motor system that facilitates its unique
spinning motion and further enhances the product’s
versatility.
Among other features is a built-in iPod dock
that charges the connected device through a power
cable; thus making it portable. Despite all of its stateof-the-art technology, this product weighs only one
kilogram; perfect for children that wish to take their
favorite lamp on family trips or even sleepovers.
