Looking back at 2020... 'Where to begin?' I wonder.

Perhaps I should begin with the end?

The end of the year is indeed here. In retrospective, 2020 was a Petri dish of 'health hazards', fear, hope, social disturbances, political overload, and - hopefully - expansion.

The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc in the lives of millions — perhaps billions — of people worldwide. Hundreds of thousands of people have died and more will in the coming months. So it’s hard to find a good side to the crisis, but here are a couple.

Environmental experts predict that "with reduced human pressure in their habitats and their expansion into previously ungrazed areas, wildlife likely will reproduce more readily, leading to larger populations a few months from now." That's one of the good sides. For at least a few months, Mother Nature has had a chance to catch a breather. Also, business models are changing. We have adapted to working from home and to reconstructing how we live. 2020 was also a year of immense opportunity to explore many areas of our lives. From creativity, to adopting a healthier diet, to committing to a yoga and meditation practice, and to (re-)connecting with Nature.
