Suppliers. Each month we will feature a new Tech Tip that addresses common workshop problems.

Vehicle and Category: Nissan Power Window Reset Procedures (Limit Switch Models)
If the following operations are performed, reset the limit switch:
• Regulator removal and installation
• Glass channel removal and installation
• Removal of motor from regulator
• Door glass removal and installation
After installation/replacement of parts, proceed as follows:
• Close the door window completely.
• Press the reset switch and open the door window completely.
• Release reset switch. Ensure reset switch has returned to
original position, and then close the door window completely.
• The limit switch is now reset.
*Be sure to manually open or close the door window.(Do not use the automatic
open-close procedure).
