2018
The 2018 Capricorn Queensland Golf Day was held at
the picturesque and challenging Royal Pines Resort on
The Gold Coast. This year's event was the biggest held
in Queensland, with 190 registered players on the day.
The 27-hole golf course at the Royal Pines Resort
allows for three unique 18 hole combinations,
including a recently redesigned championship course
which hosts the Australian PGA Championship.
Perfect conditions greeted the golfers on the day, with
sunshine, blue skies and no wind as all teams eagerly
anticipated the shotgun start.
The day was well supported by both Members and
Preferred Suppliers. Preferred Supplier sponsors donated

some very generous prizes on the day resulting in some
exceptional golf to claim the top spot.
There could only be one winner on the day, congratulations
to Jaz Performance in Brendale, on claiming the victory.
Jaz Performance has been Capricorn Members since
2010. Well done to Jared and his team!
There were some fantastic door prizes on offer and John
Crocker from All About Car Care, was lucky enough to walk
away with a brand new golf bag donated by Mercedes
Benz Gold Coast.
Thanks to the staff at the Royal Pines Resort, whose course
presentation and organisation again ensured a highly
successful and enjoyable day.
