What style would you draw your self-portrait in ? Why not investigate self-portrait cartoon styles this summer and send us in the results . We ’ d also like to hear from you if you take part in the Big Draw this October .
The Big Draw is the world ’ s largest festival of drawing and has been taking place since 2000 , with over 1800 events each year . This year the theme is “ The STEAM Powered Big Draw Festival “ – Science , Technology , Engineering , Art , Maths . Artistic and creative thinking is just as essential to industry as STEM subjects , so the festival challenge is how to demonstrate that drawing changes lives beyond art , how to turn STEM into STEAM , giving it the same value and weight as its counterparts . Registration for 2016 events and resources opened in June .
