recent quarters
Flawed not floored?
Portugal is a small market in
European online gambling terms,
regardless of the way in which the
market has been regulated and
taxed. According to the official
figures produced by the Gambling
Regulation and Inspection Service
(Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção
de Jogos or SRIJ), for calendar year
2017 total online revenues came in
at €122.5m (see Table 3).
Last year was the first full year of
operation following the opening up
of the market in the third quarter of
