GLOBAL GAMING AFFILIATES LAUNCHES
GLOBAL GAMING HAS UNVEILED a new affiliate programme , Global Gaming Affiliates .
Using the MyAffiliates tracking software , it will allow affiliates across Europe to work in collaboration with Global Gaming to promote its products , including flagship brand Ninja Casino . At the outset the programme will accept Swedish and Finnish traffic , with plans to move into new territories and verticals in the future . Global Gaming ’ s newest brand , SpelLandet . com , is set to be integrated into the programme in the near future .

TAG MEDIA LAUNCHES FIRST LOOK GAMES
FIRST LOOK GAMES is a platform launched by TAG Media to provide a direct link between game developers and igaming affiliates . It will offer publishers worldwide a range of game information , assets and content on the latest slots titles , along with further content from existing game-studio catalogues .
It is hoped that the platform , which is supported by a bespoke CMS and allows users to upload information and assets in bulk or individually , will help game developers increase the volume , quality and compliance of their marketing .
First Look Premium will support the launch of a new slot title , allowing developers to upload game information and assets two weeks prior to a game ’ s launch . The information and assets can then be accessed by selected affiliates and publishers can create content for their websites and other marketing channels that remain hidden until the game officially lands in operator portfolios .
First Look Games will offer a games library function for affiliates to access developers ’ marketing assets , as well as a Rightlander-powered compliance scanning service so that publishers can ensure reviewed content is compliant in the UK . Additional services include content creation and translation for igaming affiliates and player focus groups , press releases and translation services for developers .
“ The platform connects game developers and affiliates , delivering tremendous upsides to both parties ,” said First Look Games founder Tom Galanis . “ Developers can rest assured that publishers receive accurate , compliant information for new and existing games , while publishers can access this information freely and – in the case of game titles launched through First Look Premium – before their competition .”
METSOLA JOINS GAMBLING . COM AS HEAD OF LEGAL
Digital-marketing services provider Gambling . com has appointed Matti Metsola as the group ’ s new head of legal , a newly created role . Metsola joins from Gaming Innovation Group ( GiG ), where he served as the company ’ s first general counsel .
“ The affiliate sector is one of the most dynamic parts of the online gaming industry right now ,” said Metsola . “ Opportunities are coming thick and fast , including the prospect of a large , legal sports-betting market in the United States . With its visionary leadership , Gambling . com Group is in a prime position to capitalise on those developments . I ’ m thrilled to become part of it .”
Metsola has more than a decade of experience in the sector as a legal practitioner and in-house counsel for prominent companies like Unibet ( now Kindred Group ), Mr Green and GiG .
Gambling . com ’ s CEO , Charles Gillespie , said : “ We are happy to see Matti join the team and bring with him a wealth of experience gained managing demanding regulatory projects .”
Gambling . com operates from offices in Dublin , Tampa , Monaco and Malta . The group publishes websites that offer comparisons and reviews of online gambling websites in 14 national markets and eight languages .
WAG . IO TEAMS UP WITH LEOVEGAS
LeoVegas has signed a partnership with affiliate compliance-software provider Wag . io , which will assist the Swedish mobile-gaming company in its management of affiliates . It will also help identify opportunities through new and existing affiliates and monitor affiliate activities , including deals and promotional materials .
The software will generate communication and activity reports , establishing a paper trail , as well as also helping brands manage GDPR compliance in relation to affiliate management . LeoVegas sales and compliance executive Matthew Curmi said that the software would help the operator “ constantly monitor and review the ads and marketing materials our affiliates are using ”. He added : “ While our goal is to be fully compliant , when an error is found we can use the app to rapidly reach out to our affiliates about making an immediate correction .”
Roo Wright , founder and CEO of Wag . io , has worked in online gaming and the affiliate-marketing industry for 15 years .
