Slots Showcase 2018
“The ordinary
goings on
of the empire
are interrupted
by an escaped
T-Rex in a
steam punk
inspired setting,
with a dashing
Sherlock Holmes-
inspired character
the only man
who can save
the capital from
catastrophe!”
Across which markets and platforms is
the slot available?
London Hunter will go live with our operator partners
in February and be available on all devices, thanks to
our use of HTML5 and all the latest technology. The
game uses a common loader on all platforms with
shared components for quicker load times. The slot is
available in multi-currency options, all supported with
no additional fees. Besides English, 20 other languages
are available, including 12 European and eight Asian
dialects. With the eyes of the betting and gaming
world on London in February, it couldn’t be a more
appropriate month in which to launch.
What are the main challenges in slot development
and delivery today?
The main challenge in slots development today
remains adding as much audio visual content to
games while also ensuring the game is relatively
small and fast to download. Players demand high
quality, cinematic games like London Hunter,
but they don’t want them to compromise their
download times or the batteries of their mobile devices.
Habanero also prides itself in developing games that
are unique and innovative, and our main challenge
for the next year of development is to maintain the
high standards we have set ourselves. Ensuring that
we remain at the top of our game and provide players
with products that they have never seen before is the
priority. Our aim is to entertain.
What do you see as the major innovative and
disruptive trends in the online slots space, and how
will your product roadmap in 2017 reflect these?
Habanero has recently released Rolling Roger and
Santa’s Village. Both games featured new pay
mechanisms that we designed ourselves. We will
continue to harness this sort of innovation going
forward, as we move towards blending video games
and slot games. We also want to continue making the
mobile versions of our slots more engaging and intuitive
to the player. Last but not least, Habanero will continue
to make games that are entertaining, with features that
are unique in their offering. This will ensure they remain
fresh and inviting to operators and players as we continue
our international expansion and explore new markets.
