free spins or other features are triggered. It also
features our new Achievement Races, a tool which
maximises retention opportunities for operators.
These races allow rewards to be achieved much
quicker, in some cases four times as fast, giving
players meaningful prizes and an even more
valuable experience.
Across which markets and platforms is the
slot available?
Northern Sky is available to play across a wide
range of regulated markets with the numerous
operators we currently work alongside.
We continue to expand our international presence
by entering new territories so more players can
enjoy the content we develop.
Most recently, we entered the Romanian market
with Netbet, while our games have also gone live
with PokerStars casino, Norsk Tipping, Danske Spil,
and Sky Bingo in recent times.
What are the main challenges in slot development
and delivery today?
The challenge many slot providers encounter is
the ability to produce games which not only stand out
from the crowd in what is a congested marketplace,
but to also make them highly engaging in order to
entertain returning players.
Much of our effort at Quckspin is focused
on improving the player experience, while also
delivering a product which maximises the potential
to retain players. Through the launch of innovative
tools such as our Achievements Engine, as well
as ensuring the slots we create are of the highest
quality, we continue to rise to the challenge of
slot provision. We love slots, and we hope this
is reflected in the games we produce!
What do you see as the major innovative a
nd disruptive trends in the online slots space,
and how will your product roadmap in 2018
reflect these?
Gamification will continue to be a key trend
within the online slots space. We’ve experienced
very positive feedback from players and
operators alike with our Achievements Engine,
as it gives something back to players as well
as improving engagement levels.
Elsewhere, the regulatory landscape
continues to evolve, and has the potential to
impact the design and delivery of games in the
future. Suppliers such as ourselves are having
to adapt and provide flexibility when operating
in multiple jurisdictions. Getting the compliance
and regulatory side right is particularly
important to us.
