John Grey is an Australian born poet. Recently published in
Paterson Literary Review, Southern California Review and Natural
Bridge with work upcoming in the Kerf, Leading Edge and
Louisiana Literature.
Ben Gross lives in Washington, D.C., where he is a Master's
candidate in the English department at Georgetown
University. Ben is an aspiring high school teacher and he works as
a mentor and tutor with D.C. youth in the exploration of
literature. His poetry relates to the search for happiness and
meaning in the 21st century.
Liz Haberkorn was born and raised on Long Island, New York,
but lives in Alexandria, VA, for now. She works as an editor and
indulges in lots of snacks (especially lattes) throughout the day.
She enjoys writing humorous essays at her family's expense.
Melanie Kachadoorian holds a BA in English and an MFA in
Creative Nonfiction from California State University, Fresno. Her
work has been published in Monkey Puzzle. When she isn’t
writing, researching, or teaching, she hangs out with her family
and laughs a lot.
Katie Kelleher was once rescued from the water by a lifeguard
when she was not drowning. Apparently, her desperate flails and
frantic kicks were anything but pretty, and were likely even painful
to fall eyes upon. Needless to say, swimming was not her forte.
Growing up along the Gulf Coast, this was a great misfortune.
However, she eventually found a place she could belong in the
Appalachian mountains of North Carolina and the thriving arts
scene of the city of Asheville. Soon after, she picked up a pencil
and have since never fully put it down. Drawing became her form
of imagining, seeking, creating and sharing something beautiful.
