What do you know
about GOLD/YP?
BEING a member of an IEEE Student Branch has given
students amazing experiences, friends, networking
and a lot of skills that have complemented their degree. But, what happens after graduation?
Did you know that
there is a ‘Graduate
of the Last Decade/
Young Professionals’
IEEE community you
can belong to after
graduation? GOLD/
Elena explains the benefits.
YP is a community of
young and vibrant professionals looking for opportunities and challenges to fulfil their hunger for success.
By taking part in a GOLD/YP Affinity Group you
will be able to get involved in plenty of both technical
and non-technical activities that will launch your successful professional career. The R8 GOLD/YP session
at the SBCs will show you what the community is, and
all the benefits of getting involved in our activities.
On 13–15 March the Iberian Student Branch Congress 2013 took place in Porto, Portugal, with great
success. Congratulations to the organising team.
Elena, member of the GOLD Committee, had the
pleasure of attending the ISBC, enjoying the event and
all the activities. She also gave a lecture about GOLD
in collaboration with the Portuguese GOLD Affinity
