Thousand Springs Falls region 3: south central © Charles Knowles into the Snake River above Hagerman. This pure, clean, water maintains a constant temperature that is ideal for raising trout. Hatcheries located along the 30-mile stretch of the Snake River in the Hagerman Valley raise more than 70 percent of the trout produced in the United States. The Nature Conservancy protects 420 acres here, headquartered at the historic homestead of Minnie Miller just below the springs.
