into the Snake River above Hagerman. This pure, clean, water maintains a constant temperature that is ideal for raising trout. Hatcheries
located along the 30-mile stretch of the Snake River in the Hagerman
Valley raise more than 70 percent of the trout produced in the United
States. The Nature Conservancy protects 420 acres here, headquartered
at the historic homestead of Minnie Miller just below the springs.
