Η περιοχή έχει γίνει έμπνευση για αρκετούς στιχουργούς, ειδικά όταν αναφέρονται στην «Όμορφη Θεσσαλο-
νίκη». Τα πλήθη συρρέουν εδώ για να δοκιμάσουν κάθε λογής μεζέδες, ενώ τα γέλια από τις παρέες «μπερδεύο-
νται» με τις μουσικές στα ουζερί, τα μεζεδοπωλεία, τα bars και τα clubs. Οι νύχτες στα λιθόστρωτα γραφικά σο-
κάκια αυτής της γειτονιάς, δίπλα στο λιμάνι, μοιάζουν με πανηγύρι. Τα Λαδάδικα πήραν την ονομασία τους από το
εμπόριο λαδιού που γινόταν εδώ στις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα. Είναι πάντα στη μόδα για το παραδοσιακό και cult
«χρώμα» τους, που οφείλεται στο «κακόφημο» παρελθόν τους, αλλά και χάρη στη σημερινή «προχωρημένη»
αισθητική των νέων hot spots τους!

The region has become an inspiration for many writers, especially when referring to «Beautiful Thessaloniki». Crowds flock here
to try all sorts of delicacies, while the laughter of parties of friends mix with the music from the ouzeris, the taverns, the bars and
clubs. The nights on the cobbled narrow streets of this neighborhood, next to the port, feel like a festival. Ladadika took their
name from the oil trade (Ladi=olive oil) that were here in the early 20th century. It is always in vogue for the traditional and cult
style, due to its infamous, «dirty» past, but also thanks to today’s «advanced» aesthetic of their new hot spots!
