OUZERI OF ARISTOTELOUS “Protected” inside the
covered walkway of Aristotelous Square, the same-
named ouzeri from 1986 has flavourful treasures to offer
(among others…). The old-time atmosphere is showcased
even more through the art nouveau aesthetics and
retro touches, which all come together in a wonderful

Πάνω στην Πλατεία Αριστοτέλους και άρρηκτα
συνδεδεμένο με την πολιτιστική ζωή της Θεσσα-
λονίκης, αυτό το εμβληματικό κτήριο, κατασκευής
του 1938, στέγασε κάποτε το κινηματοθέατρο
Ολύμπιον, ενώ εδώ άνοιξε το ομώνυμο κατά-
στημα στη θέση του καφενείου Μαύρος Γάτος.
Ύστερα από 28 χρόνια, η δεύτερη γενιά άνοιξε
στο υπόγειο την ξακουστή disco Lavalbone, ενώ
σήμερα ο πολυχώρος ανανεώνεται συνεχώς. Κα-
θημερινά 09:00-03:00.
OLYMPION Located in Aristotelous Square and linked with
the cultural life of Thessaloniki, this emblematic building of
1938 housed the Olympion cinema, while the same-named
café is to be found where the coffee house “Mavros Gatos”
used to operate. 28 years later, the 2nd generation opened
the famous disco Lavalbone on the lower level of the
building, while currently this multi-purpose venue is being
constantly renewed. Daily 09:00-03:00.
