�α τελευταία δύο χρόνια παρατηρούμε στην πόλη ένα πρωτοφανές hotel and apartments booming … που καταγράφει ρεκόρ νέων αφίξεων στον χάρτη της διαμονής ! Μια διαμονή που ξεφεύγει όμως από το τυπικό μοντέλο ενός ξενοδοχείου και εκφράζεται μέσα από υβριδικά , μεικτά « σενάρια » με δωμάτια και apartments ( σε αυτή την τάση βοήθησε και το Airbnb ), που έχουν όμως όλα κοινό χαρακτηριστικό το προσωποποιημένo service και αυθεντική , ανθρωποκεντρική φιλοξενία . Ήδη από πέρυσι , δίπλα στα μεγάλα κλασικά ξενοδοχεία ήρθαν να κερδίσουν έδαφος μικρά boutique διαμαντάκια με έμφαση στη λεπτομέρεια , την αισθητική και τη λειτουργικότητα . Με ή χωρίς κοινόχρηστους χώρους , reception ή διάθεση πρωινού καλύπτουν διαφορετικές ανάγκες των ταξιδιωτών . Μάλιστα , πολλά από αυτά βρήκαν στέγη σε πρώην εγκαταλειμμένα κτήρια , δίνοντας έτσι μια νέα πνοή στο αστικό τοπίο της πόλης ! Από τα πρωτοεμφανιζόμενα της περασμένης χρονιάς ξεχωρίσαμε το designάτο The Trilogy House , το vintage style Τhe Caravan και το μοντέρνο Βlue Bottle . Τελευταίες προσθήκες σε μια λίστα που όπως όλα δείχνουν μεγαλώνει διαρκώς το minimal αισθητικής Monogram , το homey Gatto Perso , ενώ σε city centric , πιο ξενοδοχειακή λογική κινείται το Polis και το White Luxury .

�or the past two years we have been observing a phenomenal hotel and apartments booming in the city and a new record has been set when it comes to new entries in the accommodation sector ! This accommodation , though , transcends the classic hotel model and is more like a “ hybrid ” one with a mixed concept of rooms and apartments ( Airbnb has helped a lot in this direction ), where every single one of them has the characteristic of customized service and an authentic , anthropocentric approach to hospitality . Last year already , apart from the classic , big hotels , small boutique hotels also made their appearance ; little gems with an emphasis on detail , aesthetics and functionality . With or without shared spaces , reception or breakfast area , they cover travelers ’ different needs . Many of them are housed in former derelict buildings , adding a new touch to the urban “ landscape ”! From last year ’ s new entries we were impressed by well-designed The Trilogy House , vintage-styled The Caravan and modern Blue Bottle . Some of the new arrivals in a continuously growing list are the Monogram with the minimal aesthetics and the homey Gatto Perso , while Polis and White Luxury follow a city centric , more hotel-like philosophy .

Η αρχή έγινε δειλά δειλά το 2012 με το Colors Rooms & Apartments , ένα low cost casual ξενοδοχείο , ιδέα του Φώτη και της Χριστίνας Δρακοπούλου , δύο αδελφών στα early 30s . Χρώμα , pop αισθητική , design , υπηρεσίες ξενοδοχείου , αλλά σε τιμές ... hostel . Το πρώτο Colors στη Βαλαωρίτου δεν άργησε να διεισδύσει στον χάρτη διαμονής , ως μια new age εναλλακτική που ξεφεύγει από την τουριστική πεπατημένη , και ήρθε να ολοκληρωθεί πέρυσι με το οpening του ομώνυμου Urban hotel επί της Τσιμισκή με όλες τις ξενοδοχειακές ανέσεις ! Όσον αφορά στα hostels , το Little big house ήταν το πρώτο που άνοιξε το 2011 ! Μετά από 6 χρόνια η πόλη υποδέχτηκε το Hostel Stay , ένα πρωτότυπο υβριδικό μοντέλο σε ευρωπαϊκά standards !
HISTORY … It all started back in 2012 with the Colors Rooms & Apartments , a low-cost , casual hotel , an idea of Fotis and his sister Christina Drakopoulou in the early 30s . Colors , pop aesthetics , design , hotel services , yet … hostel prices . The first Colors in Valaoritou made its way quickly to the accommodation map as a new age alternative that has nothing ordinary in it and that was completed last year with the opening of its “ little brother ”, the Urban Hotel on Tsimiski street that offers every hotel comfort ! With regard to hostels , Little big house was the first to open in 2011 ! Six years later , the city welcomed Hostel Stay , an original “ hybrid ” model of european standards !

An urban accommodation choice with rooms and apartments in vivid colors , pop art decoration and modern comforts in the most vibrant neighborhoods of the city , such as Valaoritou ( 15 rooms ) and Ladadika ( 12 rooms ). The third and youngest member is the COLORS Urban Hotel , which is housed in a beautiful preserved building on Tsimiski street , in the same concept and with the asset of ideal location , with 21 rooms divided into 5 theme types !
