The small but inspired card which was recently prepared by Aivo Maurigiannaki with special hot dogs , avocado toasts , hip sandwiches and tasty salads . In a formerly abandoned commercial arcade on Egnatia Street , the Bord de l ’ Eau is an unexpected surprise , one of those you would not expect to discover in the heart of the town … An urban hidden corner formed like that since 2011 to resemble an urban neighborhood , with an interior garden , an entirely European style , which is actually the result of the synergy and vision of two brothers , Yiannis and Lazaros Gounaridis , to marry the Art with the entertainment . Lively core of the arcade , thought-out the day , is the Drinkroom , a modern cafébar , recently renovated ! Open from early on , it is a quiet meeting place to see friends , ideal for an easygoing lunch break , away from the city buzz , but also a getaway of the artistic world who wish also to explore the rest of the creative rooms of the arcade and mainly the exhibition-workshop – dominated by the design factory- with handmade jewelry of exquisite aesthetic , whose design bears the signature of Yiannis Gounaridis , a third generation craftsman . Its industrial space remains illuminated , as a natural extension of the décor of the Drinkroom , even if we return again at night to enjoy premium drinks , unique signature cocktails made of handmade ingredients as well as beers from Greek small breweries , listening to underground music in the spectrum from the electric soul , funk to the disco-house scene !
