ΤΡΟΥΜΠΑ
H πιο hot πιάτσα του Πειραιά (σε από-
σταση αναπνοής από το λιμάνι και το
κέντρο του) έχει όνομα και ιστορία. Το...
αμαρτωλό παρελθόν της συνδέθηκε
άρρηκτα με τον παλιό κλασικό ελληνικό
κινηματογράφο, τους θρύλους του λιμα-
νιού, τους οίκους ανοχής, τα κακόφημα
μπαρ και τα καμπαρέ της. Και μπορεί η
απόφαση του τότε δημάρχου Αριστείδη
Σκυλίτση για το κλείσιμο των οίκων ανο-
χής το 1968 να βύθισε στο σκοτάδι την
κεντρική Φίλωνος και τη 2ας Μεραρχίας
όμως με τη συμβολή του νυν δημάρχου
Γιάννη Μώραλη και επιχειρηματιών που
πίστεψαν στην ένταξή της στον χάρτη της
διασκέδασης, ανέκτησε το... πάθος της. Η
αρχή έγινε με το Troubar το 2014, ενώ τη
φήμη της απογείωσε το Beluga!
ΤROUBA The popular piazza of Piraeus (next
to the port and the city center) carries a brand
name and a history. Trouba’s sinful past was in-
extricably linked to the old Greek classic movies,
the port legends, the brothels, the infamous
bars and the cabarets. The 1968 decision of the
then Mayor Aristidis Skilitsis, to close down the
brothels may have plunged the central Filonos
street and the 2nd Merarhias street into darkness,
but with the contribution of the current Mayor,
Giannis Moralis and various businessmen, who
believed in the restoration of the area at the map
of entertainment, has regained its… passion.
It all started in 2014 with the Troubar while its
fame was skyrocketed by the Beluga!
