Γνωστή ως City Link, δίπλα στο πολυκατάστημα
Attica City Link, βρίσκεται στο τετράγωνο της οδού
Αμερικής με την Πανεπιστημίου, την Ακαδημίας και τη
Σταδίου, δίπλα στο Zonars. Από τις ζωντανές στοές
του κέντρου, εντός και κατά μήκος της οποίας λειτουρ-
γούν για περισσότερο από μισό αιώνα μερικά από τα
πιο γνωστά μαγαζιά της Αθήνας, ενώ αέρα ανανέωσης
έδωσε το Group Panas με τη δημιουργία του Bar de
Theatre αλλά και του αγαπημένου City Bistro. Είναι
ιδανική για ένα διάλειμμα από τη δουλειά, για after
shopping βόλτα ή μετά το θέατρο. Εντός της θα βρείτε
πολυτελή καταστήματα με διάσημα brands, εκτός,
φυσικά, από τα café- bars και τα εστιατόρια. Όλα αυτά
είναι που μετατρέπουν την πάλαι ποτέ χαμηλών τόνων
εμπορική στοά της Αθήνας του Μεσοπολέμου σε πό-
λο έλξης ντόπιων και επισκεπτών.
SPIROMILIOS ARCHADE The downtown Spiromilios Ar-
cade next to Attica City Link department store, also known
as City Link, flanked by the streets of Amerikis, Panepistimiou,
Akadimias and Stadiou, next to Zonars. One of the vibrant
arcades of the city center, it has been housing some of the
most famous stores in Athens for as many as fifty years. It was
further renewed with the creation of Bar de Theatre by Group
Panas which was added to City Bistro. It is ideal for a break
from work, an after shopping stroll or after a theatrical show.
The arcade hosts luxury stores with famous brands, as well as
café-bars and restaurants. All the above have turned the once
low-profile commercial arcade of interwar Athens into a real
gem that catches the eye of locals and visitors alike.

Όπως όλα τα ιστορικά cafés των μεγάλων πόλεων, το
Florian, το Greco, έτσι και το Zonars δεν είναι απλώς ένα
all day café. Είναι περισσότερο ένα αθηναϊκό τοπόσημο.
Άνοιξε το 1940 από τον Κάρολο Ζωναρά ως ζαχαροπλα-
στείο αρχικά, αποτελώντας σημείο συνάντησης διάσημων
καλλιτεχνών της εποχής. Πριν από 3 χρόνια πέρασε στα
χέρια των αδελφών Πανά, οι οποίοι ανταποκρίθηκαν
στην πρόκληση να αναβιώσουν τη παλιά του αίγλη. Το νέο
κατάστημα είναι εφάμιλλο των καλύτερων βιεννέζικων και
παριζιάνικων cafés. Καθημερινά 09:00-02:00.
Like all the historic cafés of the large cities, the Florian and the
Greco, the Zonars is not just another all-day café. Mostly it’s
an Athenian landmark. Open since 1940 by Karolos Zonaras,
initially as a pastry shop and later as a meeting point of the
famous artists of the time. Three years ago, it was taken over
by Panas Brothers, who lived up to the challenge to revive its
former glory. The new store, is equivalent to the best Vien-
nese and Parisian cafés. Daily 09:00-02:00.
