Education Council Scholarships The Education Council grants scholarships for study at the University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) as well as the International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI) and the Cayman Islands Law School (CILS). The deadline for scholarship applications to these institutions has been set for the last Friday in June and each year applicants must re-apply for their scholarship. Local scholarships are granted for the following at ICCI: Associate Degree (Part and Full Time Students) Bachelor Degree (Part and Full Time Students) Master Degree (Part and Full Time Students) A scholarship recipient must be Caymanian and must sign a bond for the amount of the scholarship. The bond can be fulfilled by working for one year in the Cayman Islands or by enrolling full time in a degreegranting institution recognized by the Education Council for the purpose of completing a degree. Local Scholarship Application Requirements (All 6 must be submitted) 1. Cover Letter 2. Acceptance Letter or University Application for Admission 3. Proof of Caymanian Status (Copy of Passport/Birth Certificate/ Status Paper) 4. Original Examination Results 5. Completed Scholarships Application Form for local studies. 6. Completed Authorization for Release of Information Form. Other Scholarships The following scholarships are also offered to Caymanian students by local associations, corporate businesses, and organizations. Each scholarship may have different conditions.
