 Big year for display vendor Densitron By Mark Hallinger Attending its second IBC, display technology and embedded computing vendor Densitron is debuting advanced variants to its UReady family of TFT rackmount displays along with a selection of monitors for mixing desk and studio use. The Densitron stand has zones based around its rack, mixing desk and studio products. The new UReady TFT rackmount display range for seamless integration into 1U, 2U and 3U rackmount systems aim to fi ll a gap in the market and reduce rack space within a broadcast environment. It uses an 8.5MP, 1/2.5-inch sensor, and outputs in 6G/3G/HD- SDI and HDMI 1.4. Todd Musgrave, director of cameras at Marshall, said: “Releasing an aff ordable, compact UHD camera further expands our camera reach for more broadcast and pro-AV applications. With 6G-SDI and HDMI outputs alongside fl exible CS mount lens options, it should prove versatile for a wide range of applications. 12.D20 Ultra small: Marshall Electronics’ new CV380-CS UHD camera to integrate with mechanical buttons for users who need blind operation. The company is also showing a number of open frame monitors and its work with its partner, IPE Technologies, showcasing IPE’s IDS integrated into the bar/cut monitors from Densitron. Also new this year is a colour matching system, recently introduced at its Taiwan facility.
