What motivated you to pursue an MBA? Prior to Hult,
I worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at Bank of
America Merrill Lynch. I had reached a point in my life
where I was ready for the next step. For me, that was
two things: discovering what I was passionate about
career-wise and living out my dream to move to New
York. In an intensive one-year program, the Hult MBA
offered the opportunity to do both.
Biggest learning? Participating in the Hult Prize was
a great lesson in itself. It opened my mind to an
entrepreneurial way of thinking—having been involved
in non-profits before, the social element really excited
me. I never knew how much time and effort went into
creating a successful business, and the Hult Prize gave
me a glimpse into that process. The presentation side
of the challenge increased my overall learning and
refreshed a sense of confidence and energy in
the way I communicate.

How has the program helped you to achieve your
aims? By being given the choice of multiple courses at
Hult, I made two important realizations—that it was
finance I was most interested in, and that I wanted to
make the transition from private to corporate banking.
It’s easy to lose clarity about which direction you’re
going in your career, but Hult has allowed me to
streamline my thinking and identify a strategic pathway
to reach my goals.
Hult is... an enriching, life-changing experience that I will
forever be grateful for. I made new lifelong friends,
earned my MBA, and I now have more clarity about my
future both personally and professionally.
