ALUMNI CHAPTER NEWS Washington, DC Chapter We welcome Andrew Bond and Fiona Mac Niallais to the Washington, DC Chapter. Andrew graduated in 2011 with a Master of Arts in International Relations from the London campus and is currently the Assistant Director at the Institute for Gulf Affairs, working on a variety of projects related to the Persian Gulf region. He is also a consultant for a real estate firm focused on the Caribbean and Latin America. Andrew will work as the President of the DC Chapter together with Maria-Pia Segovia, MBA 2013 (Boston), who has been a member of the Chapter since 2011 and will continue to be responsible for communications. Fiona Mac Niallais, Master of Social Entrepreneurship 2012 (London) will be acting as Events Director. Andrew Bond (2011) Fiona Mac Niallais (2012) Beijing Chapter Elections We welcome two new chapter leaders, Stephane Jeegers, Master of International Business 2012 (Shanghai) and Bai Li, Master of International Business 2012 (San Francisco) to the Beijing Chapter leadership team. Stephane, originally from Belgium, currently works as a private equity analyst at A CAPITAL in Shanghai and is fascinated by all things Asian. Bai Li works as a Trust Manager at the China Foreign Economy & Trade Trust Co, Ltd. Peisen Yang, who was one of the first Beijing chapter leaders, was also re-elected and will continue to guide the new leaders in their work. Spotlight on the NYC Chapter— ‘We are Hult New York Kick-Off 2013’ On the 2nd of November the Hult New York Chapter will hold their annual kick-off event to welcome the new 2013 graduates. Details of the event are listed below and if you’re in the area, don’t forget to join as this is an ideal opportunity to learn more about what the NYC Chapter is all about. The NYC Chapter wants to showcase its work and introduce new graduates to their local network. The event is open to members from other locations too and offers attendees the chance to find out more about the NYC Chapter, help them make new contacts, and enhance their skills. The event will include a full day of classes with top Hult professors, such as Marco Protano, who was recently voted a Professor of the Year by the 2013 graduating class. There will also be alumni-led professional development sessions on Social Media 101, résumé-writing, LinkedIn profiles, and much more. Following the event there will be an opportunity to sample the best that NYC’s nightlife has to offer in the form of a cocktail mixer and induction for new alums!
