Open for business After an official ribbon cutting ceremony in August 2018, Hult Point was open for business. Sitting on the banks of the Charles River, the building is within walking distance of startup hotspot Kendall Square and the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill. The building consists of eight team rooms with multimedia access, seven state-of-the-art lecture halls, and a common space with student kitchenette that can hold 125. The building also offers students advising rooms, a library and study area, counsellor room, and reflection room. “Students will enjoy a real campus feel,” explains Jannicke Roos, Executive Vice President of the undergraduate program. Many students choose to come to Boston specifically because of the strength of the city’s progressive academic reputation. With MIT and Harvard on their doorsteps, Hult students have access to a community of other brilliant young thinkers. “You can just go to the Harvard website and see what’s going on this weekend. In two days’ time the Ig Nobel Prize is taking place at Harvard and you can just go and see for yourself. It’s a really interesting city because a lot of important people come to give talks and lectures. You’re never bored here,” exclaims Sebastian Marquinez, first-year BBA student from Mexico. But Boston definitely isn’t all work and no play. Whatever your extracurricular interests, Boston has something to offer you. “I was over at Berklee College of Music yesterday and met a lot of people who play jazz, so I started jamming with them and then I went to Mass Ave and bought a new guitar for my apartment,” says Ruthik Prasad, first-year BBA student from India. 31 31
