ALUMNI COMMUNITY Yim Phetnamsin Peer Mohaideen Sait Gelatologist & Founder, Ampersand Gelato Masters in International Business, Class of 2012 Founder & CEO, Black Cube Solutions (Training Calendar & INNOWORK) MBA, Class of 2013 Yim had always harbored an ambition to be her own boss, so she spent the two years after graduation refining the business idea that had ignited a real passion in her—sharing her penchant for exotic ice-cream flavors with the inhabitants of Bangkok. “I love food! Ice cream is one of my all-time favorite desserts, but here in Thailand I get bored easily with the limited options.” Peer founded Black Cube Solutions in 2016. As a frontier company, it is well poised to disrupt the learning and performance through machine learning and AI. Since its launch, his company has twice been featured in the Forbes Middle East edition as an innovative product. It was also recently shortlisted as “Best HR Technology Product of the year” by Future Workplace Awards 2018 committee. Her desire for diversity in ice cream led her to experiment with unusual flavor combinations including maple syrup and candied bacon, olive oil, and yuzu sorbet. She credits Hult with nuturing her appreciation for all things international. After graduation, she opened her first ice cream store, Ampersand, in Bangkok. It was also featured in Louis Vuitton’s Bangkok City Guide.
