HSE INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES MEMBERSHIP WITH THE BRITISH SAFETY COUNCIL
HSE International is proud to announce our membership with the UK ’ s leading safety organisation , the British Safety Council .
The British Safety Council is dedicated to making sure noone is injured or made ill at work . The Council promote excellence in workplace health , safety and environmental management across the world . For the past 60 years , the British Safety Council has helped thousands of companies – ranging from small independent start-ups to large multinational corporations – to manage risk in ways that are sensible and proportionate for the size and nature of the business .
Whilst we have always supported the British Safety Council , becoming a member demonstrates our continued commitment towards keeping both our own organisation and our readers safe and healthy at work .
We are already planning to undertake the Council ’ s new 40-minute online training course ‘ Data Protection with GDPR ’. GDPR changes come into effect on 25 May 2018 , and as readership figures for HSE International online continue to grow , we ’ re handling more data than ever before . Our team members must understand their responsibilities under the new data protection rules and privacy regulations .
We ’ re also looking forward to exploring a multitude of excellent resources available to us as British Safety Council Members , including the latest expert guidance , webinars , tools and templates including Risk Assessments , posters , guides , sector interest groups and much more .
