“Other topics addressed
at the A+A Congress
included positive aspects
of digitalisation and
mental stress, with focus
on small businesses and
their working conditions.”
Messe Düsseldorf Managing Director Joachim Schäfer
commented:
“Digitalisation is no longer just something for the future -
it has penetrated virtually all aspects of life and work.
“It is fabulous that A+A is not just a stage for new
technologies - it is now being seen globally as a bridgehead
between the past and the future of our world of work.”
Good and healthy work came increasingly to the fore
in the discussions at A+A. Topics included age-appropriate
arrangement of workplaces, interface design, lighting,
climate and acoustics.
Burkhard Remmers, International Communication,
Wilkhahn said:
“The enormous response to our participation at A+A
shows that the new challenges presented by the need
for the humane design of digitalised office work have
been understood in the OSH field. There is great interest
and willingness to explore new avenues. For us, the high
percentage of international trade fair visitors travelling
here from as far away as Australia was particularly striking.”
“People matter – what an apt statement,” summed up
Klaus Bornack, President of the Trade Fair Advisory Board
and Managing Director of Bornack GmbH & Co. KG.
“Once again, A+A moved the sector with innovative
products and even more exhibitors from all specialist fields.
In turn, there was a rising number of very interested trade
visitors, from home and abroad, with specific technical
queries and a great deal of interest.”
Describing the whole event as having an “excellent
mood” and evaluating talks with exhibitors and
international delegations, Messe Düsseldorf Managing
Director Joachim Schäfer commented:
“A+A is continually growing and underlines at all levels
its relevance for the sector as the world’s leading trade fair
and congress event.
“We are proud to have been able to send strong signals
about safety, security and health at work to markets
across the entire world, along with key triggers for political
debate.”
