“In addition, we have recently been awarded ISO 9001 (2015), ISO 14001 (2015) and OHSAS 18001 (2007) with the SSIP add on for Safety Schemes in Procurement.” A FUTURE OF SAFE BEHAVIOUR Avidety recognises that the safety of staff is integral to continued growth; recently embarking on a tried and tested behaviour safety programme to support a vision of realising a harm free work environment. “We believe the programme will supplement our plans to engage field staff with our safety and operational aspirations. “Phase one of our plan is safety training to educate our core team of leadership with an understanding of why employees may work at risk. The training will then cover coaching skills for addressing at risk activities, influencing safe behaviours and improving safety performance. “Phase two of the plan is to educate the rest of our employees on personal choice and safe behaviours. “The objective of this is to share and demonstrate an understanding of personal choice and how it influences behaviour in relation to improved safety performance. “We believe that providing both groups with the training will help the whole company understand the importance of what we are trying to achieve. “Phase three of our plan will be to monitor the participation and performance of all our teams, encouraging proactive and positive attitudes by rewarding those who demonstrate consistent safe behaviours with opportunity. The opportunity will consist of development programmes, tailored to company upskilling needs and succession planning.
