stablished in 2004 but with origins dating back to
the 19th Century, Otto Simon applies a unique blend
of experience and innovation to our projects. Our
services include due diligence, technology integration, front
end engineering design, project management, turnkey
project delivery and O&M (operations and maintenance)
asset management.
Our legacy companies, Dr C Otto and Comp and
Simon Carves, were both founded in the 1870s with
the aim of transforming the coke-making and coal
processing industries. Otto Simon draws upon the wealth
of hard earned experience and knowledge from both
of these legacy companies, and has rapidly established
a distinguished track record of success and proven
performance in the process, industrial and energy sectors.
We’ve earned particular recognition for being one of
industries leading authorities in the assessment and
application of thermal processes, associated gas clean-up
and liquid treatment.
In 2004, Otto Simon Carves’ legacy of know-how and
experience was transferred into Otto Simon Ltd. Now a

SCOPE OF OPERATION
Otto Simon works successfully with a wide range of
clients in the UK and around the world, providing cost
effective and practical solutions in Biorefining, Thermal
Processing, Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Coal / Coke
Processing and By-Products.
We are currently working as Principal Designer and/
or Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 for 3 live projects
in the UK and have personnel based on sites throughout
the country. We also support several chemical production
companies with plant improvement projects in the North
West.
