“ E Floor has become a new Health Industries Learning and Training Facility , offering courses in Dentistry , Pharmacy , Health & Social Care and Childcare .
“ The final stage of the building programme - the creation of a state-of-the-art Learning Centre ( LC ), houses the latest digital technology , print resources and social spaces that are essential for learning and employability in the 21st Century .

Q How do contractors assist Calderdale College ? Do you look for specific accreditations or qualifications from companies that you work with ?
“ The College seeks to employ contractors from the local area to keep costs down and to create consistency in its approach , rather than ad hoc contracts where there is no cohesion . Using local contractors also helps with servicelevel agreements ( SLAs ) and maintaining the facilities at the college at all times . We obviously look for trade accreditations and qualifications that prove the competency of the contractors . Each contractor goes through a rigorous qualifying process before appointments are made .”
“ With a thriving curriculum , the college offers a wide range of full and part time courses in addition to work-based learning opportunities .”
Q What does the future hold for Calderdale College ?
