EVENTS: A+A 2017 PEOPLE MATTER A+A 2017 Trade visitors from around the world will meet at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre for A+A 2017 - the world’s largest and most important trade forum for professionals involved in safety, security and health at work. Ever since it started in 1954, A+A has helped to raise worldwide awareness of industrial safety and health promotion in the workplace. Held every two years, A+A comprises both an international trade fair and a convention. A+A 2017 will present the latest global trends, products and services for the realisation of safe and healthy working routines, including: industrial safety, personal protection, health promotion in the workplace, and safety management at work. This year, the event will showcase around 1,900 exhibitors in the enormous 68,245 sqm net exhibition space, with registrations already received from every continent. Manufacturers will give convincing demonstrations of their innovative strength, with themes including corporate fashion, ergonomic office furniture, protective equipment, fire protection and emergency management, and corporate environmental protection. A+A CONGRESS 2017 Running in parallel with the A+A trade fair, the 35th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine will provide comprehensive information on current topics and challenges in the industry. The convention will feature over 50 series of talks, and more than 300 speakers will address today’s issues and outline potential solutions. As in previous years, the A+A 16 HSE INTERNATIONAL Congress will include the conference of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as a major programme item. SPECIAL SHOWS & SUPPORTING PROGRAM In addition to the trade fair and convention, forums, theme parks and special shows at A+A will present specific solutions for individual sectors as well as provide visitors with hands-on experience.
