RIGDELUGE® FREE FLOW NOZZLE TECHNOLOGY™
(FFN™)
The Free Flow Nozzles™ were designed to mitigate the
problems of nozzles blocking during a well test operation
where it has been recorded that due to nozzle heads
blocking, the well test had to be shut-in to allow for nozzle
head cleaning. This means that not only are personnel and
asset at risk from thermal radiation but also NPT (None
Productive Time) will be encountered.
“It takes just 2000 BTUs to blister skin in 20 seconds, and
when you’re flaring, the rates are much higher. The FFN™
ensures a safe working environment for all personnel
during flaring operations, preventing high levels of thermal
radiation. It has a transmissivity level proven to be greater
than 90% (0.1t) and utilises less water than current industry
nozzles, while achieving this improved performance of
thermal attenuation.
