TO ENGAGE ALL STUDENTS IN NEW WAYS,
INCLUDING OFFLINE SOLUTIONS AND
INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES.
3D manufacturing, retail, and education are being
revolutionized in real time: doctors examining
patients from afar; students learning from home; small
businesses adopting online platforms; the nimbleness
of 3D printing. The technology that makes this possible
was already in place—it’s how we employ it, how it fits
into the hierarchy of needs that has been altered, maybe
forever. Our hope here is to give a window into a world
we are just beginning to inhabit. How we use these
technologies and make them available in a safe, just, and
equitable manner is the task of our future endeavors.
