We asked leaders across HP, from our cutting-edge
labs to our sustainability and diversity officers, for
their thoughts on the role of technology and HP
in the 2020s. They hail from different businesses
around the world, but they all agree on one thing:
HP can help lead the way in a time of great change
and great challenges. In the next decade, we will be
relying on technology to help protect the planet,
prepare for a global skills shortage, care for an
aging population, and adapt to a digital workforce.
They foresee social, economic, and ecological
megatrends that will spur major innovations to
help improve our lives. New products like a hearing
aid that takes your temperature or a desk chair
that gives tips to improve your posture, and new
services like driverless delivery and AI-assisted
3D manufacturing, won’t seem like sci-fi but will
all soon be a reality. Here are 20 musings on the
decade ahead.
